The Best Cat in the World

Pebbles
He was the best cat in the world. My son could
carry him around like this and he loved it. We
named him Pebbles 'cause we already had a Bam
Bam and we also got his sister Wilma. We had him
for about eleven years. He got sick one day and died.
He is buried in our yard with a stone on his grave.
He was a very loving cat. He was nice to all the other
cats we had and loved to play with new kittens. We've
never had another cat quite like him. Rest in peace,
Pebbles.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof? No, Cat in a Bread Box!
I took the lid off and she just jumped right in there 'cause
she's curious like that. She was laying down completely
and I could have put the lid on, until I went to get the camera.
Yes, I purchased my Italian Spode bread box. I bought it
off Ebay, it was brand new though and came in its original
box unopened. Kissa thinks everything is for her. Every
box that comes in the mail is inspected for quality. Our
outdoor kitty Minny came running in the front door the
other day and walked past Kissa and growled at her. But
Kissa decided she was mad as hell and wasn't gonna take it
anymore! Kissa hunkered down like a panther, flattened
out her body, and ran after Minny, pounced on her. They
rolled around for a few seconds and Minny headed for the
front door which I opened and zoomed out. Kissa looked
rather pleased to have taken care of business. I could only
laugh.

Magnanimous
Magnanimous:
Very generous or forgiving, esp. toward a rival or someone
less powerful than oneself.
Now in this case I am the less powerful one but I also have
to be the forgiving one. She always wins! We play tag and
she wins. We play hide and seek. She wins. I was looking
at her laying on a quilt yesterday and I thought, "What a life
of luxury. She follows me from room to room and finds a
suitable, comfortable place to sit and watch or sleep. She
has every comfort and food that she could hope for. But I
love her. It is also very nice to be able to give such a small
creature pleasure. I can massage her neck and rub her head
and it takes me very little effort. I wish someone could do that
for me with little effort. Her fur is so soft and pleasing to me
that is my pleasure. Ah, the life of the indoor cat!

Because I'm a Copy "Cat"
Call me a copy "cat" but I found this so funny on Bossy's blog today that I just had to try it.

Hobbes is working on the "cow pie scratch." He hasPas de deux...

They come for a closer look.
Of course, the real person we are copying is HER.
I decided to show you my dance moves wearing my
lovely new Hunter boots. I would like to call this
my "first-and-a-half position" but sweet Minne-sota
Notice I said "I like to" not that it is really. Notice Marsipan
I will call it "focus on the cat plie." Not to be confused
"ronds de jambe a terre". Please take note that "terre"
means "earth."
That is why I am wearing rubber boots.
Flexible moves. Minne looks a little
irritated. I wonder why?
